Jackson Law

Jermaine K. Jackson was born in Stuart, Florida, and grew up in West Palm Beach.  He attended Palm Beach Lakes High School.  While at Palm Beach Lakes, he played basketball and participated in the marching band.  

Mr. Jackson received a Bachelor of Arts from Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he majored in English and Philosophy while graduating in the top 10% of his class.  At Shaw University, Mr. Jackson served as the President of Alpha Kappa Mu Honor Society as well as the Vice President and Director of Education for Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated.  Upon obtaining his degree from Shaw University, he taught in the North Carolina public school system as an English teacher and coached basketball.  Mr. Jackson also worked as an advocate for youth while managing a Level III Group Home and overseeing a staff of twelve (12).  In addition to his professional responsibilities, Mr. Jackson also served as the youth pastor for his local church.  

Continuing his educational pursuits, Mr. Jackson applied and attended Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, in Lansing, Michigan where he obtained his Juris Doctorate.  While attending law school, he represented the school by participating in several Mock Trial competitions.  He was also an active member of the Law Journal, where he served as the Legal Conference Editor.  He also gained invaluable experience while interning in the Sixty-Plus Inc., Elder Law Clinic where he drafted estate planning documents for actual clients, including but not limited to Wills, Trusts, Power of Attorneys and Health Care Directives.  

Upon graduating from Law School and gaining admission to the Florida Bar, Mr. Jackson returned to the Treasure Coast where he represented several insurance carriers including but not limited to Auto-Owners, FedNat, Universal Property Insurance, Homeowners Choice, Monarch National, Citizens Property Insurance Company, Olympus, Pilot Travel Centers, USLI, Wal-Mart, Home Depot, and AXA-XL to name a few.  Mr. Jackson has also handled all aspects of Chapters 7, 11 and 13 Bankruptcy proceedings. Additionally, he served as an Adjunct Professor at Indian River State College where he taught Survey of Law, Contracts, Torts and Business Organizations.  

When Mr. Jackson is not practicing law, you can find him spending time with his family or coaching basketball through his non-profit travel ball team -- Florida Fire Elite.  He is married and has two sons, Jaiven (16 years old) and Tristan (12 years old).
